Congrid and HomeRun agreed on a partnership. The objective is to complement customers' product offering and to join forces in their international operations.
"Both companies are aiming to increase their business in the Nordic countries. This partnership will also benefit our existing customers in Finland. We want to help them succeed even better," says Congrid's CEO Timo Makkonen.
Congrid has developed a digital platform for construction sites' quality and occupational safety management and control. The system is already used by more than a hundred customers in construction sites in Finland and Sweden. HomeRun, on the other hand, is a digital tool for resident communication, document management and management of resident selection.
The HomeRun.net website already serves more than a hundred construction and real estate customers in Finland and Sweden. Cloud-based services enable, for example, residents' material choices, resident communication and project management during plumbing renovation.
"Our applications complement each other. By combining data, our customers will have access to the best software easily, and they can enter their data into a single system," says Makkonen. Thanks to this partnership, data will in future be transferred seamlessly from the end customer to the construction site and back. HomeRun's CEO Otto Laurila says that both companies already have common, and quite big customers.
"Our products complement each other well, and both can focus more on their own core business. The partnership makes business sense both in Finland and internationally," says Laurila.
Congrid and HomeRun are both aiming to reach the markets in the Nordic countries, focusing first on Finland and Sweden. The partnership will make both stronger and increase their products' visibility.
